Do I need an Encria account to subscribe?

No. Encria has no accounts. Your documents, your corrections and your writing profiles stay in a local library on your iPhone or iPad. Encria Pro is billed through your App Store account, so your payment details never reach us — Apple handles them, and we only receive an anonymous subscription status so the app can unlock Pro.

How do I cancel?

From your Apple account settings, the same place as every other App Store subscription. A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Once cancelled, Pro stays active until the period you have already paid for runs out.

What exactly counts as a page?

The allowance is counted in transcribed pages, not in documents. Photograph a six-page letter and transcribe it as a single document, and it uses six pages of your allowance. Re-reading, editing, copying or exporting a transcription you already have costs nothing — only a new transcription is counted.

What happens when I run out of pages?

Nothing disappears. Your library, your past transcriptions and everything the app has learned from your corrections stay exactly where they are; you simply cannot start a new transcription until the monthly allowance renews. If you need pages before then, page credits or Encria Pro both cover it.

Monthly or yearly?

Twelve monthly payments of €5.99 come to €71.88, so paying €39.99 a year saves about 44%. Monthly makes sense while you are still finding out how much you actually write; yearly is the cheaper one once you know. Both unlock the same allowance of up to 500 pages a month.
